Granting the national registry number through the national type registration procedure for road vehicles for which there is a valid type approval of the entire vehicle, in accordance with the framework regulations of the European Union, in order to be admitted to circulation on public roads in Romania.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n

With a view to issuing the Vehicle Identity Card, RAR carries out the activity of granting the national registry number through the national type registration procedure for new vehicles that are under the incidence of a EU type approval, or national type approval of motor vehicles and their trailers produced in small series, or national approval of type of agricultural or forestry vehicles, or national type approval of vehicles designed and manufactured or adapted and equipped for use exclusively by the military forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
