Subsequent to the remedy of the signaled technical problems, the vehicle must be presented with the RAR for checking the repaired sub-ensembles / systems.

After noticing the fault remedy, the RAR representative will mention this on the original copy of the registration certificate replacing evidence.

If the reason for withholding the registration certificate was constituted by the expiry of the validity term of the previous periodical technical inspection, the technical check for reacquiring the certificate is performed exclusively by RAR. The integral performance of the technical check is only applicable to the vehicles registered in Romania.
